ip address

Use the ip address command to assign an IP address and mask to an interface.
The

no

form of the command deletes an IP interface.

Syntax

[no] ip address

<ip-address> <mask> [<admin-state>]

Parameters

Example

To assign the IP address 192.168.22.33 with mask 255.255.255.0 to the Fast Ethernet
interface:

X330WAN-2DS1-1(super-if:FastEthernet1)# ip address 192.168.22.33 24

ip admin-state (Interface context)

Use the ip admin-state command to set the administrative state of an IP
interface. The default state is up.

Syntax

ip admin-state

<up/down>

Parameters

ip bootp-dhcp network (Interface context)

Use the ip bootp-dhcp network command to select the network from which
the BOOTP/DHCP server should allocate an address. This command is required
only when there are multiple IP interfaces over the FabricFastEthernet. The no
form of this command restores the default.

Note:

This command is executed from the Fast Ethernet and FabricFastEthernet

interfaces.

ip address

The IP address assigned to the interface.

mask

Mask for the associated IP subnet.

admin-state

The administration status, i.e., either up or down (default is up).
This parameter is not applicable for the Console interface of the
X330WAN.

up/down

Administrative state of the interface. The choices are Up (active) or
Down (inactive).
