de pre-mark (Map-class context)

Use the

de pre-mark

command to set the threshold, in percent of CIR, for

pre-marking of non-high priority traffic. The

no

form of this command restores the

default value.

Note:

This command is relevant when voice and data traffic share a single Virtual

Circuit. A higher threshold value provides more bandwidth for data traffic,
potentially reducing voice quality. Too low a value might provide more bandwidth
to voice traffic than is needed, and the data traffic is discarded. You obtain the exact
threshold value for your uses via trial and error.

Syntax

[no] de pre-mark

<threshold-percent>

Parameters

Example

X330WAN-2USP-1(super-map-class)# de pre-mark 35

encapsulation frame-relay (Serial interface context)

Use the

encapsulation frame-relay

command to set the encapsulation of the

Serial interface to a Frame-Relay interface. The

no

form of this command reverts the

encapsulation of the Serial interface to PPP.

Note:

PPP is the default encapsulation.

Syntax

[no] encapsulation frame-relay

[<type>]

Example

X330W-2USP-1(super-if:Serial2)# encapsulation frame-relay ietf

threshold-percent

The threshold, in percent of CIR. The default is 100%.
