loopback diag (Controller context)
Use the loopback diag command to put the T1 or E1 line into loopback mode.
Note: Use this command during line setup and maintenance.
Note: Only one type of loopback can be defined at any given time.

Use the loopback local command to put the T1 or E1 line into loopback mode.

line The controller loops the external line signal back towards the
network without reframing the DS1 signal.
payload The controller loops the external line signal back towards the
network and reframes the DS1 signal.
