Received
broadcasts

The amount of broadcasts received. This value advances only
for Ethernet interfaces.

Received giants

Displays the number of packets discarded due to them
exceeding the maximum packets size.

Received
unknown
protocols

Displays the number of packets received on the interface that
were discarded due to them using an unknown or unsupported
protocol.

Input errors

The total number of errors for packets received. Includes a sum
of the following errors.

CRC

The Cyclic Redundancy Checksum. This usually indicates
transmission problems on the data link.

Abort

An illegal sequence of 1 bit was detected on a Serial interface.
This usually indicates a clocking problem.

Packets output

The total number of messages transmitted.

Bytes output

The total number of bytes transmitted, including data and MAC
encapsulation packets.

Output errors

The total number of errors that prevented packets from being
transmitted.

Collisions

Displays the number of retransmitted messages due to an
Ethernet collision (non-Ethernet ports=0).

Interface resets

The number of DTR and RTS resets (down-up fluctuation) due
to an inoperable Serial line, or when the USP interface is
administratively brought up again (USP interfaces only).

Carrier transitions The number of times the carrier detect signal state changes on a

Serial interface.

Signal status

DCD, DSR, DTR, RTS, and CTS signal status (X330W-2USP
only).

ARP type

The Address Resolution Protocol type used.

ARP timeout

The Address Resolution Protocol timeout value.

Full/Half duplex The duplex state of the interface (for Fabric and Fast Ethernet

interfaces only).
