The general system layout for the 1715 Redundant I/O System consists of the

following hardware components.

1715-AENTR Adapter Redundant Module Pair

The 1715 adapter module communicates via the EtherNet/IP network to a 1756

ControlLogix controller, conveying system I/O data.
