The LED numbers in the tables below correspond to the numbers in the
previous figure.

Orange - Lights when an internally-
generated signal is used. This occurs
when the user is not connected to the
port and in the OSD, or when the user is
connected to a port, but a video signal is
not present from the server.

Green - Lights when the server's video
signal is used; this happens when the
server is presenting a valid signal.

Green - Lights when the user is
connected to port and a video signal is
detected and "synchronized". This
means that the KVM is presenting the
signal to the station.

Orange - Lights when the video signal
level is detected but not synchronized.
Typically, this takes a very short amount
of time (less than 1/3 second) for the
KVM to synchronize to the server's
video signal upon first connection.

Monitor RS-232 async
port status

• OFF – Indicates the port is not open.
• Orange – Lights when DTR (data

terminal ready) signal is on (when the
port is open).

ACT

Monitor RS-232 async
activity

• OFF – Indicates no data activity.
• Green – Blinks when data is either

being received (RX) or transmitted
(TX).
