You can use the escape sequence hot keys instead of the key combinations
shown in the previous table. For example, [Ctrl+Alt+Del] is equivalent to
“@” key.

The following table list the escape sequence hot key equivalent.

SuSe 10 - KDE

Default key sequence is [Ctrl+Alt] +L

If desired, follow the steps below to change the
default key sequence.

1. From the K Menu, go to Control Center >

Regional & Accessibility > Keyboard
Shortcuts > Shortcuts Scheme > Global
Shortcuts

2. Scroll down to “Desktop” to see the default

shortcuts key settings.

3. Select “Lock Session”

4. Click on the Custom button, and the button

which displays the current shortcut key
sequence.

A dialog box opens.

5. Click on “Advanced” and clear the x in the

default shortcut sequence.

6. Enter the desired shortcut key combination.

SuSe 10 - Gnome

By default there is no defined key sequence.
Follow the steps below to define a key
combination.

1. Go to Desktop > Gnome Control Center >

Shortcuts

2. Select “Lock Screen” and enter the desired

key sequence, for example, [Ctrl+Alt] +L
