Network requirements

A 3COM VCX device operating as a DHCP client requests the DHCP server for all sub-options of Option

184. An H3C series switch operates as the DHCP server. The Option 184 support function is configured

for a global DHCP address pool. The sub-options of Option 184 are as follows:

NCP-IP: 3.3.3.3

AS-IP: 2.2.2.2

z

Voice VLAN configuration: voice VLAN: enabled; voice VLAN ID: 3

z

Fail-over routing: IP address: 1.1.1.1; dialer string: 99*
