Reconvergent critical paths (which only occur in asynchronous fabrics) are potentially the most complicated
- these have multiple possible graphical representations, selectable by changing options in the Layers section
of the
. The ”RC Path Topology” settings alter the arrangement
of the Nodes in the graph. The ”RC Path Arrows” settings alter what the arrows’ direction represents. The
example screenshots below are all of the same reconvergent critical path, with two DFFs both driving the
same two LUT4s.
When the topology is set to Driver→Sink, the nodes are arranged so that user logic Drivers are on the left,
and user logic Sinks are on the right.
