report regions Chapter 5. Tcl Command Reference
[-clocks < arg > ] Optional The -clocks < clk1 freq clk2 freq
.. clkn freq > option may be
used to specify the operating
frequency of all the clocks in the
design. If this option is not
present, the frequencies from the
design constraints will be used
by default. If no constraints are
found, the best achieved
frequency will be used
[-outputfile < arg > ] Optional The optional -outputfile <file>
option may be used to specify an
output file name or file path. If
this option is not present, the
output is written to the default
implementation reports
directory and is named
<
design name> power.html.
[-achieved] Optional The optional -achieved option
may be used to specify that
achieved timing simulation
results be used to generate the
power dissipation report
[-text] Optional The optional -text option is used
to specify whether the file
should be output as plain text.
[-csv] Optional The optional -csv option is used
to specify whether the file
should be output as a CSV file
for use in Excel spreadsheets.

report regions [-outputfile < arg > ] [-text] [-csv]
This command generates and writes a formatted region report.
Argument Required/Optional Description
[-outputfile < arg > ] Optional The optional -outputfile <file>
option may be used to specify an
output file name or file path. If
this option is not present, the
