clear drawing Chapter 5. Tcl Command Reference
following commands can be entered on the command line *before* the final flow step:
set_extra_pipeline -xp 5 clk1
set_extra_pipeline -xp 5 clk7
apply_extra_pipeline
Note: It is an error to run this command after the post-processing flow step.
Important Caveat: Failure to run this command after an XP (eXtra Pipeline) value was changed will cause a
changed XP value to be ignored in Bitstream Generation and in the expanded verilog output files. However,
it will be honored in the timing reports, which is a little confusing because that may create a false impression
that running
apply extra pipeline does not really need to be run, so some users may erroneously forget
to run it.

[-defparams] Optional The optional -defparams option
specifies whether placement
should be applied from
defparams or from batch
placement commands.
clear arcs
clear arcs [-id < arg > ]
This command allows you to clear a custom arc or all the arcs on the GUIs layout view.
Argument Required/Optional Description
[-id < arg > ] Optional The optional -id <id> option
specifies a unique id for a single
arc to clear. If this option is not
used, all arcs will be cleared.

This command clears the current custom drawing on the GUIs layout view.
clear lines
clear lines [-id < arg > ]
This command allows you to clear a custom line or all the lines on the GUIs layout view.
