Defining a Profile

When you define a custom forwarding profile, you should identify it and specify which fields will be wild carded:

Use the following command to define a custom forwarding profile.

Applying a Profile

You can apply a profile to a slot. AFter you apply it to a slot, you should enable it on the ports in a slot.

Use the following command to apply a profile to a slot.

Enabling a Port

After you apply a custom forwarding profile to a slot, you can enable it on a per port basis. Ports on which the
forwarding profile is enabled will use it to forward packets. Ports on which the forwarding profile is not enabled will
use the default forwarding mode.

To enable custom forwarding on a port:

Monitoring Custom Forwarding Profiles

To view custom forwarding profiles, enter any of the following commands in Enable mode:.

ip define custom-forwarding-profile <string> sip-host-wildcard |

dip-host-wildcard | proto-wilcard |dst-sock-wildcard |src-sock-wildcard

| tos-wildcard

ip apply custom-forwarding-mode <string>

ip enable custom-forwarding-mode port
