Configuration Files

The

show

and

system show

commands display the commands in the order they were executed. You can change this

sequence to alphabetical order by using the

system set show-config

command.

Activating the Configuration Commands in the Scratchpad

The configuration commands you have entered using procedures in this chapter are in the Scratchpad but have not yet
been activated. Use the following procedure to activate the configuration commands in the scratchpad.

1.

Ensure that you are in Enable mode by entering the

enable

command in the CLI.

2.

Ensure that you are in Configure mode by entering the

configure

command in the CLI.

3.

Enter the following command:

7KH &/, GLVSOD\V WKH IROORZLQJ PHVVDJH

Type

y

to activate the changes.
