To enable a trap type, use the following commands in Privileged mode:

1. Enter Global configuration mode.

snmp-server enable traps

<trap-type>

2. Enable the specified trap type.

<trap-type>: Trap type to be enabled (all: all trap types).

3. Return to Privileged mode.

show snmp-server

4. Check the state of the trap.
