Focusing Manually
If focusing is not possible with autofocus, you can magnify the image and
focus manually.

Set the lens’s focus mode switch
to <MF>.
z Turn the lens focusing ring to focus
roughly.

Determine an area to magnify.
z Press the <
S
> button to activate
magnified display, then move it to where
you want to focus by using the <

> dial or the <

> cross keys.
z To center the magnified area, press the

L
> button.

Magnify the image.
z Each press of the <
B
> button
changes the magnification ratio, as
follows.
1x → 5x → 10x
