Hydraulic Oil Temperature Warning Indicator Troubleshooting

Check hydraulic fluid level.

Check for plugged condition

or debris on oil cooler.

Hydraulic oil temperature

warning indicator stays

ON while operating.

Repair as needed.

Disconnect harness at

sending unit. Indicator light

should go out.

Check connections and

circuit at sending unit.

If OK

Repair as needed.

Replace hydraulic oil

temperature sending unit and

retest system.

Check circuit for grounded

wire 151 (YEL/GRN).

If grounded,

repair wire. Refer to Section

9.7.6, “Main Electrical

Schematic.”

Replace instrument cluster.

If circuit tests OK

Stop and idle engine for

5 minutes to allow hydraulic

oil to cool.

Before troubleshooting any
electrical circuit, ALWAYS
begin by checking the
following:

1. Fuses.

2. Battery for proper charge.

3. All connections relating to

circuit are clean and tight.

4. Check instrument cluster

bulbs for proper function.
