Calibration - General

Tab: Method

Evaluation - Calibration General

This tab contains the basic settings for the calibration.

Calibration method

Selection of the method with which calibration is to take place.

Selection

no calibration | MLAT | DT

Default value

no calibration

MLAT
MLAT (Modified Linear Approximation Technique) is the default calibra-
tion method for the determination of brightener in electroplating
baths. Only the Linear regression curve type is permitted for this cali-
bration method (see Glossary, page 870).
DT
DT (Dilution Titration) is a calibration method for the determination of
suppressor in electroplating baths. The analysis is based on the fact
that galvanic metal precipitation is reduced by the addition of suppres-
sor to a VMS (Virgin Make-up Solution) (see Glossary, page 867).

tion defined in the method.

Table
The type of calibration curve is defined in the table of calibration curves
for each substance. The table cannot be edited directly and contains the
following columns:

Calibration method MLAT

Substance

Name of the substance. Substances can neither be added nor deleted
here, this must take place in the substance table (see Chapter 5.6.3, page
555)
.

Evaluation quantity

Measured quantity for the evaluation of the calibration curve.
