Method group
Collection of methods offering the possibility of defining access permis-
sions.
Method
Run instruction for processing a sample and performing a VA measure-
ment. A method consists of tracks that are themselves made up of com-
mands.
RDE (Rotating Disk Electrode)
RDE stands for Rotating Disk Electrode. It is the solid-state working
electrode in the electrochemical measurement. The RDE consists of a con-
ductive disk built in the front side of a cylindrical shaft that is made of an
insulating material such as polymer or glass. During the measurement the
RDE can be set into rotation by a rotation drive mechanism.
Recognition
Assignment of the evaluation quantity (peak area, peak height) to a sub-
stance.
Replication
In voltammetric measurements, all data recorded is stored in a data set.
The result variables belonging to a single voltammogram are unambigu-
ously distinguished by an index X for the variations (see Glossary, page
