Section Two –
Installation Requirements
This section offers an overview of site requirements and how to prepare the
unit for operation.
Prerequisites
Before you install the Logic+, you need to prepare the site for installation.
Examine the location where you intend to install the cabinet. You must be
certain that the area is level and of solid construction. In addition, a
dedicated source of electrical power must be located near the installation
site.

 Electrical power requirements.
 Exhaust requirements.
 Service utility requirements.
 Space requirements.

Space Requirements
The dimensions for the Logic+ biosafety cabinets are shown in Section Nine:
Miscellaneous .
Clearance
A minimum clearance of at least 6 inches (150 mm) is suggested on the top
and both sides of the cabinet for service.
