Specifies loopbacks for the associated segment endpoint.

Values: No Loopback, Normal Loopback
Default: No Loopback

NOTICE:

At the time of this release, only the Normal Loopback option is
implemented for the WANsuite 6430.

T ip R in g R eversa l

Indicates the state of the tip/ring pair at the associated segment endpoint.

L o op b ack T im eo u t

(m in u tes)

Specifies the timeout value in minutes for loopbacks initiated at segments
endpoints contained in the associated unit. A value of 0 disables the timeout.

R estart E n d p oin t

Enables the manager to trigger a soft restart of the SHDSL line at the
associated segment endpoint. The manager may only set this object to the
“restart” value to initiate a restart. The agent will perform a restart after
approximately 5 seconds, and restore the object to the “ready” state.

Values: Ready, Restart
Default: Ready

P ow er S ou rce

Indicates the DC power source being used by the associated unit.

Serial Screen

The Serial screen (Figure 3.19) lets you view and make changes to the unit’s
Serial interface configuration as described in the paragraphs below. To make
changes to any Serial port parameter, simply set the parameter to the desired
selection and press the “Submit” button.
