I-60 Communication is not possible because there was some trouble with the telephone
line. Lower the transmission speed and perform the operation again or consult with
your telephone company. Transmission/Reception
I-71 Password Check reception, an F-code based or Encryption communication was not possible.
If the error was due to Password Check reception, confirm the corresponding
Password Check reception settings, or turn Password Check reception OFF, and try
to carry out the communication again.
If the error involved an F-Code based communication, contact the other party and
confirm the corresponding F-Code commands (SUB, SID, etc.) to be used.
If the error involved an Encryption communication, confirm the corresponding
encryption key and key ID. Password Check Reception

I-72 The receiving party’s fax does not possess the proper capabilities to carry out
Polling reception. Polling transmission
I-F1 The entered Remote Test ID did not match the registered one under Remote
diagnosis.
Enter the correct Remote Test ID as predetermined with our service centre.
I-75 A polling request came in but there were no documents set in your fax. Polling transmission
I-F2 Remote diagnosis was not accomplished properly. Contact our service centre.
I-45 Transmission was attempted, but was unsuccessful because the necessary DC
Loop was not detected for dialling. Check all your telephone line connections and
make sure that a modular cord other than that supplied with your facsimile is not

I-46 The other party’s line is busy. Wait awhile and attempt the transmission again. Transmission
I-47 Transmission was attempted, but was unsuccessful because a dial tone could not
be detected. Check all your telephone line connections. Transmission
I-48 The other party’s facsimile does not answer. Telephone the other party and have
them check if their facsimile is operating properly. Transmission
I-49 A busy dial tone was detected prior to dialling. Check your telephone line. Wait
awhile and attempt the transmission again. Transmission
I-79 The other party’s fax does not possess Password Check or F-Code based
capabilities.
If the error was due to Password Check reception, turn Password Check reception
OFF and try to carry out the communication again.
If the error involved an F-Code based communication, contact the other party to
confirm their F-Code capabilities and try to carry out the communication again. Password Check Reception

persists, contact your service representative, an authorised service centre or the
