3. Removed any jammed paper.
* If the jammed paper cannot be removed easily, proceed to
step 4.

4. Pull the paper cassette out towards you and remove any
jammed paper without tearing it.
* Hold the cassette with both hands when drawing it out.

5. Reinsert the paper cassette securely into its original
position.

6. Reinsert the imaging unit into its original position in the
facsimile.

7. Gently close the facsimile.
3 Paper jam in the paper eject section or inside the
facsimile
When a message like the one below is displayed, a paper jam has
occurred in the paper eject section or somewhere within the facsimile.
Remove the jammed paper according to the following procedure.

1. Lift the document table up and confirm whether or not paper
is protruding from the paper ejection slot.
* If paper is protruding from the paper ejection slot, remove
it without tearing it.

2. Press the main body release button and open the facsimile.

3. Grasp the handles on each side of the imaging unit and lift
the unit all the way out of the facsimile.
* After removing the imaging unit, place it on a stable
surface.
