8. Press an unregistered one-touch key.

9. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.

10. Enter the fax number of the relay station.

* If you entered the fax number with the keypad, proceed to

step 11.

* If you entered the fax number with an abbreviated number, one-

touch key or group dial key that is already registered with the
appropriate SUB (subaddress) and SID (subaddress ID),
proceed to step 15.

11. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.

12. Use the keypad to enter the appropriate SUB (subaddress).

(Max. 20 digits)

13. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.

14. Use the keypad to enter the appropriate SID (subaddress ID).

(Max. 20 digits)
* If you do NOT need to enter a subaddress ID, proceed to

step 15.

15. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.

To use multiple relay stations, repeat steps 10 through 15 until all
desired fax numbers have been entered.
* If “EXCEEDS MAX. DEST” appears in the message display, the

number of fax numbers entered exceeds the acceptable limit.

16. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key once again.

17. Enter the desired name for the program key.

* Refer to “

Entering Characters”, page 2-21, for more detailed

information on entering characters.

18. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.

19. If you want to designate a time for the transmission to begin, use

the keypad to enter the start time.
To have the transmission begin immediately after the program
key is pressed, proceed to step 20.
* The time should be set on a 24-hour time basis (00:00 - 23:59).

20. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.

21. Registration for that program key is complete. Use the cursor

keys (

) (

) to select whether or not you want to continue

registering program keys.

SEP (selective polling address) and PWD (F-Code password),
proceed to step 15.

11. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.

12. Use the keypad to enter the appropriate SEP (selective polling

address). (Max. 20 digits)

13. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.

14. Use the keypad to enter the appropriate PWD (F-Code

password). (Max. 20 digits)
* If you do NOT need to enter a F-Code password, proceed to

step 15.

15. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.

To receive documents from multiple fax machines, repeat steps 10
through 15 until all desired fax numbers have been entered.
* If “EXCEEDS MAX. DEST” appears in the message display, the

number of fax numbers entered exceeds the acceptable limit.

16. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key once again.

17. Enter the desired name for the program key.
