Fax Operation (Basic)
(4) Dual Access
This function enables the fax to simultaneously process 2 different
operations, including those involving fax communication, copying,
print out and input from the operation panel. For example, even when
the fax is connected to a computer and is being used as a printer,
Memory transmission is possible because the telephone line is not
being used for transmission. This function also makes it possible for
the fax to start a new operation even before another operation is fully
completed. Refer to “
Dual Access Function Table”, page 2-10, for
more detailed information on the operations available under the Dual
access function. Due to the fact that the fax handles all Dual access
operations automatically, no special settings are required for its use.
