9. Press the START key. The side of the originals that is face

down will be scanned into memory.

10. Once all of the originals have been ejected onto the

document eject tray, “CHANGE DOC. SETTING” will
appear in the message display. Turn the originals over and
set them on the document table once again.

Once the originals are set on the document table, they will be
automatically scanned into memory, combined with the
previously scanned data and the copy operation will begin.

* If “DOCUMENT MISMATCH” appears in the message

display, the number of originals scanned for the front side and
the number scanned for the reverse side is different. In this
case, press the STOP key and perform the operation once
again from the beginning.

* Once copying is completed, remove the finished copies from

the paper eject table. A maximum of 100 copies can be
stacked at one time on the paper eject table.

* To cancel the procedure part way through, press the STOP

key. The message display will revert to the initial mode.

1. Set the originals to be copied on the document table and, if

necessary, select the desired resolution and contrast.

Duplex Copying (2-sided to 1-sided)

Carry out the following procedure when making 1-sided copies from
2-sided originals.
It is also possible to make multiple sets of copies from a single set of
originals (Duplex-Sort copying).
* A maximum setting of “99” copies (or copy sets) is possible.
* For more detailed information regarding the copy resolution,

contrast and magnification ratio, refer to “Standard Copying and
Group Copying”, page 3-2.

5. If the Optional Cassette IS installed, use the cursor keys

(

) (

) to select which cassette copying will be

accomplished from. Select [1] for the cassette that is
included with the facsimile, or [2] for the Optional Cassette.

6. Use the keypad to enter the number of copies (or copy sets)

to be made.

7. If you wish to change the magnification ratio, press the

ENTER FUNCTION key.
* If you do NOT wish to change the ratio from 100%,

proceed to step 9.

8. Use the keypad to enter the desired magnification ratio

(50% - 200%).
* When copying with the SUPER FINE setting, select a ratio

between 70% and 200%.
