4. Confirm that the position of stop plate corresponds to the
desired paper size and set the paper back in the cassette.

5. Replace the paper cassette in its original position.

6. Press the main body release button and open the facsimile.

7. Gently close the facsimile again. All indications of the paper
jam will be erased.

8. Set the desired paper size. Refer to “Setting the Paper
Size”, page 9-8.

When a document or original jam occurs, the ERROR indicator will
light and “DOCUMENT JAM” will appear in the message display
along with the page of the document or original which is jammed.
* All data scanned to that point will be deleted.

1. Remove all remaining documents from the document table.
* If the documents can not easily be removed, DO NOT
attempt to remove them forcibly, and proceed to the next
step.

2. Open the ADF cover.

3. Remove the jammed document without tearing it.
* If the document cannot be removed easily from the
document insert side of the ADF, remove it from the
document eject side.

4. Close the ADF cover. The ERROR indicator will go out.

5. Reset all of the documents.
