Is the paper set correctly in the paper
cassette?
Is the paper curled or wrinkled?
Are there loose scraps of paper remaining
inside the facsimile?
Are the documents or originals set

Are the document length, width, and weight
of the documents or originals appropriate?
Are there too many documents or originals?
There are obvious dirty
spots on either side of the
printed image
Paper often jams
No document or original
feed or skewed feed

Is the facsimile in direct sunlight, or in an
area of high temperature or high humidity,
or an area with extreme temperature
fluctuations? Install the facsimile in a different area. 1-3
Set the paper correctly in the paper

Perform the appropriate procedure to
