7. Press the START key and copying will begin.

* Once copying is completed, remove the finished copies

from the paper eject table. A maximum of 100 copies can
be stacked at one time on the paper eject table.

Making Copies

1. Set the originals to be copied on the document table and, if

necessary, select the desired resolution and contrast.

2. Press the COPY/SPACE key.

* If the Optional Cassette is NOT installed, proceed to step 4.

3. If the Optional Cassette IS installed, use the cursor keys

(

) (

) to select which cassette copying will be

accomplished from. Select [1] for the cassette that is
included with the facsimile, or [2] for the Optional Cassette.

4. Use the keypad to enter the number of copies per original to

be made.
* A maximum setting of 99 copies is possible.

5. If you wish to change the magnification ratio, press the

ENTER FUNCTION key.
* If you do NOT wish to change the ratio from 100%,

proceed to step 7.

6. Use the keypad to enter the desired magnification ratio

(50% - 200%).
* When copying with the SUPER FINE setting, select a ratio

between 70% and 200%.

Standard Copying and Group Copying

Carry out the following procedure to make individual copies or a
single set of copies, or to make multiple copies from one or more
originals, with each copy produced from a single original grouped
together in a set.
* When making copies, the resolution will be automatically be set to

FINE unless another resolution is selected.
To copy photographs, etc., as clearly as possible, select PHOTO
MODE. To copy originals with detailed lines or characters, select
SUPER FINE. Press the resolution select key to select the desired
resolution. (Refer to “Sending Documents”, page 2-12.)
In order to copy with the SUPER FINE setting, it is necessary to turn
the Super Fine function ON in advance. (Refer to “Super Fine
Function ON/OFF”, page 9-7.)

* When FINE or PHOTO MODE is selected, the copy magnification

can to set to a ratio anywhere between 50% and 200% in 1%
increments. When copying with the SUPER FINE setting, it is
possible to enter a magnification ratio between 70% and 200%.To
make copies at a reduction ratio of less than 70%, it is necessary to
select the FINE or PHOTO MODE setting.

* In order to adjust the copy contrast, press the contrast select key

and select either the “Normal”, “LIGHTER” or “DARKER” contrast
mode. (Refer to “<Contrast>”, page 2-13.)

* To cancel the procedure part way through, press the STOP

key. The message display will revert to the initial mode.
