Remote Server’s
Network Name:
This field specifies the network name or
TCP/IP address of the remote database
server. If the network name is entered, it
must already exist in the local /etc/hosts
file. Contact the network
administrator for this name or
TCP/IP address.
TCP/IP Port
Number:
This field contains the TCP/IP port
number. This port number must match
the one on the remote
database server. Contact the
server’s database
administrator for this port
number.
