6 Do one of the following:
Establishing a serial connection
To establish a serial connection:
1 From the Menu Bar, choose Connect → Logon Unit → Serial.
Result: The Serial Port Configuration dialog box displays, similar to the
following:
2 Enter the Remote Gateway 9150 unit’s associated COM port, and then
click on the OK button.
Result: The User Authentication for Serial Mode dialog box displays,
similar to the following:
3 Enter guest in the Login Name field.
4 Enter the default password, guest123, in the Password field.
Note: Nortel recommends that you do not change the password until your
system is up and running.
