Automatic TEIs (Terminal Endpoint Identifiers)
BRI modules must be used in a point-to-point configuration if using automatic
TEI assignments. They cannot be used in a multi-point configuration. Also,
make sure that no other ISDN devices are on the line.
Entering the BRI settings
To enter the BRI settings:
1 Complete the fields as described in “BRI Configuration field descriptions”
on page 228.
2 Click on the OK button
Result: Configuration Manager writes the changes to a temporary file on
the administration PC.
3 Click on the Send button to update the Remote Gateway 9150 unit with the
new information.
Note: To save changes to the Remote Gateway 9150 unit’s Flash memory,
select Upload
→
Save to Flash from the Menu Bar.
