Configuring the Remote Gateway 9150 unit Standard 3.1
Local SwitchOver

Click on the Enable option button to automatically
route the voice path for local station-to-station calls
(calls from one Remote Gateway 9150 station to
another station on the same Remote Gateway 9150
unit) through the Remote Gateway 9150 unit when
such calls are made on the host calling key.
The signaling data is routed through the host PBX.
However, the voice path is routed through the Remote
Gateway 9150 unit to:
— prevent tromboning between the RLC and Remote
Gateway 9150 unit
— save connection bandwidth

Click on the Disable option button to route the voice
path for these calls through the PBX.
The signaling data is routed through the host PBX.
The default is Disable.
Note: You must enable the DN Discovery feature in order
for the Local SwitchOver feature to work. Refer to the
Reach Line Card Installation and Administration Guide
(NTP 555-8421-210) to enable DN Discovery.
