4.7.3 Bank Select Table

Bank Select inputs are used to “multiplex” the output signals allowing up to 32 signals from

only 8 physical outputs. By changing the input conditions of the two Bank Select inputs, up to

four “Banks” may be selected, changing the definition of each output point.

REJECT

Output when the fastening result is a REJECT.

Indicates that the spindle has failed the

fastening limits. This output remains active

until the START signal or RESET signal is

input.

ACCEPT

Output when the fastening result is a ACCEPT.

Indicates that the spindle is within the fastening

limits. This output remains active until the

START signal or RESET signal is input.

ABNORMAL

Output when an Abnormal condition occurs,

indicates that the System has detected an

internal fault, and can no longer proceed. An

Abnormal condition must be corrected before

the System will resume normal operation.

READY

Output when the system is in READY condition

to operate, and inputs are enabled. This signal

is inactive (off) when the BUSY output is active

(on).

BUSY

Output after a START signal is received, and

active until the fastening cycle is complete and

the READY signal is output.

TORQUE

HIGH

REJECT

Output when Fastening resulted in a Torque

High Reject.

TORQUE

LOW

REJECT

Output when Fastening resulted in a Torque

Low Reject.

BYPASS

Output when the spindle is bypass either via

PLC input or the Controller Unit front panel

switch.
