Resolving the No Mag Stripe Present Error
All Troubleshooting procedures assume that only factory-authorized supplies are in use in
the Printer.
Step Procedure
1 Review the following information.
• Symptom: There is no magnetic card in the printer.
• Printer Error State: A print job with Magnetic encoding data was sent to
the printer but the card does not have a magnetic stripe on it.
• Driver Monitor Error Display: No Mag Strip Present

• Verify card has magnetic stripe and it is placed in the hopper correctly.
Magnetic stripe must face UP.
