Three mouse actions are used in most procedures:
Point Moving the mouse to place the pointer over an item is called
pointing.
Click Pointing to an item on your screen and then quickly pressing and
releasing the left mouse button is called clicking.
Drag Holding down the left mouse button as you move the pointer is
called dragging.
Notes, cautions and warnings
Three terms, in the following standard formats, are also used to highlight special
circumstances and warnings.
NOTE: A note indicates additional, significant information that is provided with some
procedures.
