Explorer's GC uses the technique of precolumn backflushing to enable fast analysis
times. In order to analyze a wide range of different compounds, Explorer is fitted
with three separate analytical columns in its GC. It is not necessary for you to
change GC columns; column selection is automatic in
Explorer. The columns are
operated at a controlled elevated temperature for precise identification of
compounds.
