(h) (1) Each licensee shall notify the appropriate NRC Regional

Administrator, in writing, immediately following the filing of a
voluntary or involuntary petition for bankruptcy under any chapter
of title 11 (Bankruptcy) of the United States Code by or against;

(i) The licensee;

(ii) An entity (as that term is defined in 11 U.S.C. 101(14))

controlling the licensee or listing the license or licensee as
property of the estate; or

(iii) An affiliate (as that term is defined in 11 U.S.C. 101(2)) of the

licensee.

(2) This notification must indicate:

(i) The bankruptcy court in which the petition for bankruptcy was

filed; and

(ii) The date of the filing of the petition.

§30.51

Records

(a) Each person who receives by product material pursuant to a license

issued pursuant to the regulations in this part and parts 31 through 35 of
this chapter shall keep records showing the receipt, transfer, and
disposal of the byproduct material as follows:

(1) The license shall retain each record of receipt of byproduct material

as long as the material is possessed and for three years following
transfer or disposal of the material.

(2) The licensee who transferred the material shall retain each record of

transfer for three years after each transfer unless a specific
