RESET SWITCH
Syntax
reset switch
Parameters
None.
Description
This command does all of the following:
❑ Performs a soft reset on all ports. The reset takes less than a
second to complete. The ports retain their current operating
parameter settings. To perform this function on a per-port basis,
refer to “RESET SWITCH PORT” on page 111.
❑ Resets the statistics counters for all ports to zero. To perform this
function on a per-port basis, refer to “RESET SWITCH PORT
COUNTER” on page 346.
❑ Deletes all dynamic MAC addresses from the MAC address table.
To perform this function on a per-port basis, refer to “RESET
SWITCH FDB” on page 127.
Examples
