Configuring Local I/O
Modules Use your programming software to configure the I/O modules for the
controller.
2. Select the new module (1769-IA16 in this example).

1. In the Controller Organizer, select CompactBus Local icon. Right click and
select New Module.

3. Configure the module, using the module wizard to specify characteristics. Click Next to advance the wizard. Click Finish
when you are done.
The completed module will appear in the Controller Organizer.
