Figure 6.49 illustrates the extended ride-through capabilities of the
control circuit. An UPS must be installed to provide the energy to
supply the AC/DC converter for an extended period of time in case
of a loss of control power. It is assumed that if control power is
interrupted, the medium voltage will also be interrupted and the drive
will not be required to operate the motor until both control and
medium voltage is re-applied.
