Power Connections

The installer must ensure that interlocking with the upstream power
source has been installed and is functioning.


The installer is responsible for ensuring that power connections are
made to the equipment in accordance with local electrical codes.


The drive is supplied with provision for cable lugs. The power
terminals are identified as follows:



Incoming Connections

• Drives with 6-Pulse / PWM Rectifiers: 2U, 2V, 2W

• Drives with 18-Pulse Rectifiers

- Secondary (d0)

2U, 2V, 2W

- Secondary (d-20)

3U, 3V, 3W

- Secondary (d+20)

4U, 4V, 4W

U, V, W


Power Cabling installation requirements

The following drawings are:

• A front view of the 900 mm input cabinet for

6-pulse and PWMR drives.

• Typical line cable termination assemblies (18-pulse)


To determine cable distance from top or bottom of input cabinet to
termination points, refer to Figure 2.14 .
