10 Managing VAN Fabric topologies

VFM displays internal topologies of DCs and the connections between DCs and IP network by using

IMC-PLAT network topologies.
VAN Fabric topologies include LAN topologies and SAN topologies.
For information about the basic functions and common operations of network topology, see H3C IMC

Base Platform Administrator Guide.

Managing LAN topologies

A LAN topology displays all DCs managed by VFM. For each DC, it displays all network devices,
servers, storage devices, physical links, and the connections between the DC and the IP network.
LAN topologies include the following topologies, which correspond to the EVI, SPB, and TRILL functions,

respectively:

EVI topology

SPB topology

TRILL topology
