Alternatively:

Click the Advanced icon

to expand the query area, and specify one or more of the following

query criteria:

{

Name—Enter a partial or complete VFC interface name, including the interface type and

interface number.

{

Status—Select the operational status for the VFC interface from the list. Options include All,
Unmanaged, Unknown, Up, Down, and Disabled.

{

WWN—Enter a partial or complete VFC interface WWN.

{

Operation Mode—Select an operational mode from the list. Options include All, Auto, E, F,
and NP.

Empty fields are ignored.

2.

Click Query to display all VFC interfaces that match the query criteria.

Viewing VFC interface details

1.

In the VFC interface list, click the name of the interface whose details you want to view. The VFC

Interface Details page appears.
VFC interface parameters

{

Name—Name of the VFC interface, including interface type and interface number.

{

WWN—WWN of the VFC interface. The WWN is factory assigned.

{

Administrative Status—Administrative status of the VFC interface. This status is configured by
the operator.

{

Operation Status—Operational status of the VFC interface. This status is the current status of
the VFC interface.

{

Administrative Mode—Administrative mode of the VFC interface. This mode is configured by
the operator.

{

Operation Mode—Operational mode of the VFC interface. This mode is the current mode of
the VFC interface.

{

Bind Ethernet Interface—Ethernet interface bound to the VFC interface.

{

Bind MAC Address—Peer FCoE MAC address bound to the VFC interface.

{

FCF Priority—FCF priority for the VFC interface. If a server or storage device is connected to
multiple VFC interfaces, the server or storage device establish a connection with the VFC

interface with the highest FCF priority.

Click the icon to return to the VFC interface list.

Adding a VFC interface

Before adding a VFC interface, synchronize the FCoE switch to obtain the latest VFC interface list on the

FCoE switch. Otherwise, the added VFC interface might overwrite the VFC interface with the same

interface number on the FCoE switch.
To add a VFC interface:

1.

In the VFC interface list, click Add.

2.

Configure the following parameters:

VFC Interface ID—Enter a number for the VFC interface. The number must be unique in VFM.

{

Port Mode—Select a port mode from the list. Options are E, F, and NP.
