{

ACL Number—Enter the ACL number for matching FCoE and FIP frames. The ACL rules to

match FCoE and FIP frames are generated automatically by VFM.

{

Classifier Name—Enter the name of the classifier to which FCoE and FIP frames belong.

{

Behavior Name—Enter the name of the behavior for resetting the 802.1p priority of FCoE and

FIP frames. The actions for resetting the 802.1p priority are generated automatically by VFM.

{

QoS Policy Name—Enter the name of the QoS policy for associating the class with the
behavior.

{

WRR Queuing Type—Select the WRR queuing type from list. Options include byte-count and
weight. The byte-count option means allocating bandwidth to queues in terms of bytes. The

weight option means allocating bandwidth to queues based on weights.

4.

Click OK.

VSAN auto discovery

This function allows you to discover VSANs and FCoE switches in fabrics.
To perform VSAN auto discovery:

1.

Click the Service tab.

2.

From the navigation tree, select VAN Fabric Manager > SAN Configuration > VSAN Auto
Discovery.

3.

Configure the following parameters:

{

Minimum/Maximum VSAN ID—Specify the scope of VSAN discovery.

{

Select Data Center—Select data centers that have been added to VFM from the list.

{

Select Switch—Select the seed switch from the list, which must be an FCoE switch.

4.

Click the Auto Discovery button. Auto discovery takes some time.

After auto discovery is complete, the VSAN discovery result page appears.

VSAN Discovery Result—Presents the discovery result for each VSAN in a table. The table lists all
successfully discovered VSANs and then all the VSANs failing to be discovered.

{

Start Time/End Time—Start time/end time for VSAN auto discovery.

{

Time—Time when the VSAN was discovered.

{

Discovered VSANs—Discovered VSAN IDs.

{

Switch Count—Number of switches in the discovered VSAN.

{

Result—Successful is displayed for the successfully discovered VSANs. Failure reasons are
displayed for the VSANs failing to be discovered.

Device Import Result:

{

Time—Start time/end time for device import and specific time when a device was imported.

{

Result—Result of the import operation.
