416 Chapter 12 CEC Compliance Testing
To communicate with the generator from the TME software:
1. Activate the Host softkey on the bottom of the TME interface and activate the radio
button beside the next available port.
2. Enter the IP address of the generator in the field provided as shown below.
3. Click on the Connect activation button on the lower right of the interface.
A success notification is provided as shown below. This message indicates that you
have connected to the generator.
If the connection fails, restart the TME to ensure proper operation.
Completing the Capabilities Declaration Form (CDF)
The first activity in executing a CEC compliance test is to identify the set of tests that apply
to the particular CEC device that you are testing. The TME software contains a
Compliance Test module (CEC-CT module) that greatly simplifies this initial activity. The
test module provides a wizard-driven interface to populate the CEC Capabilities
