You can use the ACA to view the transactions of the EDID read. Refer to the procedure

To monitor the EDID transactions on the DDC (I2C) bus (channel): ” on page 498.
During the procedure, you will have to pulse the hot plug detect lead. To do this with the
DIDU command:
