8. Click on the Finish activation button on the bottom panel to compile the test suite.
The following dialog box will appear.
9. Click OK in the Status dialog box.
The CDF definition is completed for the model definition that you are testing and the
TME application compiles the test suite. The TME application terminates and you will
have to restart the TME application to run the compliance test.
Running the CEC Compliance Test
The TME software enforces the sequence of steps in a particular test but the sections of
the overall test or specific tests within a test section can be performed in any order. You
can suspend a test at any time and for any reason and then continue when convenient.
However you cannot restart mid test. As the test proceeds through the sections and
specific tests, the TME interface provides instructions where necessary to take physical
actions such as making connections to the additional equipment defined in “
Additional
equipment required ” on page 413. The equipment environment for each test is depicted
through the TME interface to assist you in visualizing the test setup.
With Release 2.5.x the TME has been enhanced to run through test steps automatically
where user input is not required.
