Checking the retort lid seal
• Regularly check the seal for damage after cleaning. If the seal is damaged, it must replaced
without delay.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning the retort sieve
• The filter sieve in the base of the retort (
Fig. 229
) must be cleaned with ethanol or xylene. For
convenience, the sieve may be taken out to remove all solid dirt.
• Call up CLEAN TOUCHSCREEN under PROGRAM
PROTOCOLS on the SETTINGS MENU screen.
• Clean the touchscreen.
• Press ENABLE EXIT to enable the BACK button (

).
This will enable you to return to the standard display.

Only the following cleaners can be used to clean the screen:
• Surface cleaner for plastic (Poliboy)
• Paraguard by Pseudoscience
• PC monitor cleaner (spray)
Cleaning the touchscreen
This way, you will be able to touch and clean
the screen without inadvertently enabling a
function.
