The access rights to the instrument are configured in this field in
the form of user profiles.
There are three access levels:
• Operator mode
• Supervisor mode
• Service mode

SECURITY
The OPERATOR and SUPERVISOR modes have different levels of access and are used to
operate the instrument.
Service mode is intended for Leica service personnel only. A special password is required for
this mode.
The OPERATOR symbol is displayed in the top right corner of the screen.
A password entry is not necessary to switch to operator mode.
Operators can run the following functions:
• Start programs, enter the number of cassettes and change the run options.
• Interrupt and resume running programs.
• Confirm automatic ethanol and xylene replacement.
• Confirm the melting paraffin and paraffin replacement functions.
• Run cleaning programs (except smart cleaning).
• Fill and empty the retort as well as all stations.
• Mark stations as "Full" or "Empty" in reagent status.
• Edit the REAGENT GROUPS menu.
• Call up, sort and update the system status and the run log.
• Query results, print out PDF files, and save them on a USB stick (
see Section 5.1.9 ).
