5.1.4 The System monitor menu

The current values for the respective pro-
cess are displayed next to the individual
buttons.
Warning and alarm threshold values are
stored for each process.

The

SYSTEM MONITOR menu (

displays data relating to the instrument
functions.

• If the stored warning value is exceeded, the current value is displayed in RED and a warning message informs

the user that the warning value has been exceeded.

This warning serves as a reminder to schedule maintenance via the Leica Technical Service. You can continue

using the instrument without any limitations.

• If the set alarm threshold value is exceeded, a message is output on the screen to inform the user that the

alarm value has been exceeded. The service maintenance symbol is displayed in the top left corner in all
menus. Now, at the latest, maintenance by the Leica Technical Service is required in order to prevent any
serious damage to the instrument.

5. Operation

The warning or alarm threshold values can only be reset by Leica Service technicians.

The alarm and warning threshold values cannot be accessed in supervisor mode.
